I'm new here.. just signed up, from Ontario, Canada. I figured may as well sign myself up since I will be the owner of a red metallic 2005 Cobalt LS Coupe come May-June. What type of cobalts are people on the board considering buying?... besides the SS s/c lol I think I've settled on the LS coupe with the sport appearance pkg, sunroof, mp3/pioneer stereo, and 5-speed.... should come out to $22870.00 Canadian.

Does anyone know if the Recaro seats will be an additional option on the LS coupe?

well, vice starting a new thread, id just save space and say my salutations here. im rocking it hard down in Kansas City, Misery, and just waiting for that lil ss to hit the shelves in feb(?) if my dealer told me right. i was hoping to wait out for the concept ss to come out, but thats not 100% sure, so ill bask in the glory of the ss now. trading in my lil 01 grand am gt 3.4L v6 ho for an ss...imma miss this lil mid-size, but i think it will be a good trade.

Hey Keebler! I'm from the KCMO area too! And yes, i too am purchasing an SS, i've put in my pre-order as of, say 2 and 1/2 months ago! Sadly we won't see these things till mid-late january.

 

yeah, im probably gonna get mine from van chevrolet. zach, the dealer im talking to, is hooking me up with ordering the rk sport body kit and slapping it on for me before i buy mine.
if you ever see a silver grand am gt with blue marker lights, chances are, its probbaly me.
where in kc are you? you down on north oak or barry rd much?

 

Not a CobaltSS owner yet, but am a diehard loyal fan to all motorsports and Autotech facts and trivia. I live in West Texas. We have a few inches of snow on the ground this Christmas! (unusual for here). I like this site and hope to learn a lot about the CobaltSS.

I'm actually from Blue Springs, i think i'm getting my SS from either Molle Chevrolet here in town or Superior Chevrolet from Bob Winn cause hes really helpful. I want that hood from RK Sport, i wonder how much of a discount we get from saying we're a registered member on here.

 

discounts? what discounts?? i havent read around the entire site yet, but if there is a thing about getting discounts from being a member that i didnt know about, shoot me a link??

 

Its somewhere around this board, i'm sure if you either did a search or maybe emailed RKSport you'd find something out. i think it was just on the hood though? But hey, every little bit helps!!!
