New Mod...
I live in Toms River... This happened on my way to work this morning on Columbia Turnpike in East Hanover. One of the directors where I work contacted the Raptor Trust and took care of it. I really felt bad when I found out it was a baby owl but my first thought when I railed him doing 55mph at 7:00AM (in the dark) was that I hit a wild turkey... I was waiting for the radiator to blow steam and warning lights to turn on but luckily it was only that poor bastard. Now I have to get it fixed... Looks like the bumper took the hit first as the passenger side is bowed up under the headlight...

haha thats great, reminds me of the time my friend nailed a huge ass hawk with is front bumper on his explorer, thank god for the bumper being metal, he hit it at like 60mph and we all just laughed as we hit it
lol... That sucks. I hit a bird when i was late for work one day..... it hit the edge of my hood and cut it right in half. Half of the bird was jammed in the grill and the other half flew over my car. O man that was sooo nasty.... and smelled so bad...
Did the owl actually stick there?

Yeah, his leg got caught in the grill... i left him there until it got light out so i could get good pics, no one would believe it if i didn't have proof...
Insurance adjuster said in 35 years that was the first owl he has seen... $850 worth of damage! Like I need more bills...
This is my 3rd flying kill... A seagul in '90, a pigion in '91 an now an owl... Next I think I'm gonna try for a crane...
Wow, at least you have wings on both end of the car now!
I hit a tiny little bird with my Cobalt, the billet grille just cut it in three and it smacked up against my intercooler. No damage though!
