ZZP makes them dickwad.

and yes it bolts right in, those few things you speak of are no feat in history to do.
will i do it prob not. would it be bad ass yes... ultimate sleeper
Thanks. I couldn't, for the life of me, find a set that looked even remotely decent.

As for the swap comment, I don't really know too many people on the site. At least, I don't know you. Most of the people i've met on here are pretty... new... to cars. The word "Whip" threw me off

A 4G-63 would make it a badass sleeper, no question there

My Mistake

As far as I go, it's just been really small work. The only thing major that i've done was replace a 4g-63 from a 91 TSI. Wasn't hard, other than it being an Automatic (I'm sure someone knows -.-)

The Balt's had nothing really big done to it. No internal work, HE on the way. The factory boost gauge just went out about 2 weeks ago, and i've been looking for a pod ever since. If it breaks, make it better

My friend has harnesses and everything. Complete cars sitting in his back yard. MKIII Supra's too. He can also weld up anything and everything that you may need.

Also, my Cobalt has only had 1 owner.

That thing is sexy. Car is older than me and has the same mileage as my 07. Nice find!

Oh, and if you're really serious about putting a 4g-63 motor into this truck, you may want to reconsider unless you know how to rewire a harness. The stock motor mounts will mount the 4g-63, but the thermostat will hit the firewall.
Fuel lines would need to be replaced with ones capable of higher pressures, Fuel pump, etc.

As for bolting right in, that sounds like a pretty un-researched statement :P
1...You dont have to rewire ****. Just get a 91-94 4G63t harness and be done!
2...Either re-shape the firewall for clearance issues or http://www.jayracing.com/index.php?main_page=index they have everything for d50 swaps
3...Any dsm fuel pump would work...or mount a fuel cell in the engine bay (less plumbing)
4...4G's do pretty much bolt up to these things. Been done countless times and have done one myself.

No but I wish it was mine...actually saw this thing in action at Carlisle a couple years back.

http://www.thedrifttruck.com/

I was searching jayracing too and actually couldnt find all the parts they used to fab for these things. They used to have everything for these. If you do eventually want to do a swap, Id just call them, Im sure they still make it all.
