Newbie here!!

What's up everyone, I'm Luke. Just joined this not too long ago and have not had too much time to check out the forums. Since it's Sunday, got some time!!

Have had a 2006 Cobalt SS S/C for about a year now. Originally wanted the srt-4. It's a sweet car, bought it used with 46,000 miles on it. Now has 64,000 miles on it!!! It's still running strong though and it basically looks mint. I baby the car, but had a lil accident a couple months ago where i forgot to put the ebrake up and i left the car and it rolled into my basketball hoop!!!!! I Straightened out the front bumper since it got a lil fcuked up so it looks pretty good now. Got some minor bolt-ons like a cat back Magnaflow exhaust system and a K&N air intake. That's basically it. I've been going crazy wondering what I should do next to the car. Do I wanna spend $550 on a stage 2 or do i wanna just do some small things to it like make the exterior look a little better, or do i wanna replace my FRONT BUMPER!

Any suggestions on what i could or should do to my motor or exterior/ interior within the next couple weeks. Trying to save some $$ but the temptation is killing me since all i hear about on this site is STAGE 2, STAGE 2, STAGE 2 and it's been sometime since i've done anything.....

Also, Does anyone know a site where i could order pre-painted bumper covers???? I'm having trouble finding one.

PS. Last time i'll ever post anything this long!

don't get the stage 2, since youre already past the warranty, get the zzp interchangeable pulley system and get like a 2.8 or 2.9 and a custom tune with 60's.

Welcome to the forum, Notice your in CT, hope you come to the track up here in NH and we could meet up. As for stage 2, go custom w/ a 2.9, 60,s and a tune. For install and tune, i suggest SMG in mass. Great shop and great guys all around. Oh and welcome!

well in that case, if youre worried about the chance of it being voided, i'ld go with the stage2, and order a nates 2.9 then if you have any troubles just put the stage2 pulley back on and take it in. much easier than messing with an aftermarket tune. just depends on the dealer though. if they feel like the problem was caused by something you did, they won't fix it. but if they don't really care, then go custom

get the cx racing h/e. i may be going with a CA stage kit, but only cause i could get everything i needed right then and there with 1 order. if i was going to get components from other places though, i would go with a cx racing h/e or a cobra w/ bwoody brackets

ha thats what i originally thought...

so why 60s instead of 42lb injectors like it says they use for the CA stage 2 kit...will it be safe for the car and do i have to get the spark plugs too?
