im thinking about selling my cobalt, and getting this wrecked 2001 saleen s281 supercharged at my local salvage yard that make 470hsp..

Just keep talking to your dad, and convincing him. And what's wrong with the GM Stage 2 Kit? Just keep talking to you dad. I did that and my dad let me upgrade from my 2.4L SS, to a SS/TC, and he let me get a work truck too. So, just keep on talking to him.

 

b/c we repair totaled cars.. and he says u cant get it even with ur own money.. i love my cobalt and just want it faster..

See my dad says the samething about my car. He keeps telling me not to do any performance mods this and that. It would be one thing if he was making the payments on my car or even co-signed. ****, when I was in there signing paperwork the dealer ask them if they would co-sign and they said, "heck no." Not even just No, but heck no. Screw it. Its my car and my hard earned money...I'ma do what I wannnnt...lol

Nothing makes me angrier than some of these kids now a days and the ***** television shows.

My dad bitches about any mod I did to my car. First thing I did was was put hard pipes on and a bov on just to **** him off and now I have a full exhaust and that pisses him off even more.

But yeah, just order the stage 1 kit and put it on if you don't want him to notice, I guess.

yeah.. 1st off i think im going to keep the bolt, asking for cash is a great idea, but i dont think he would notice the stg 1, im trying to work him into it one mod at a time.

but he would would be so pissed if i got an exhuast, but i move out in 2 or 3 years then i can what ever i want! b/c i bought it and pay for everything (gas, parts, TICKETS,) everything but insurance b/c i make over 3.0

 

I paid for my car and my parents still don't like me doing anything to it, but what they don't know won't hurt them! They still think it's bone stock lol.
