The "SS" (not SS/SC) is just like the 2.2L versions with a 2.4L engine.

You have options of cloth and leather, 2 door and 4, 5-speed and automatic.

Colors are as follows
21U Laser Blue Metallic (also found on Equinox and 05 Impala)
34U Yellow
41U Black
50U Olympic White
56U Sunburst Orange Metallic (No Change)
67U Light Tarnished Silver (Odd color name I know, but I haven't seen it yet)
74U Victory Red (No Change)
84U Majestic American (Maroon Red ?)(Similar to Sport Red Metallic)

My personal opinion is that insurance varies from office to office, so call your local insurance agent and ask them as there are too many variables in it for us to even guess.

Geico had no clue what a Cobalt SS S/C is. They listed it under a Cobalt SS. My insurace went up like 36 bux every 6 months. It's still a sub compact and it's only got a 2.0 L engine.

So it won't get the 4 wheel disc brakes and 5 lug wheels?

I'm assuming 4 discs will be optional and either 4 or 5 lugs will be the only way it comes... but there's been no press releases or additional info.

Don't we have somebody on here that works in the facility where they build the suckers?

They had the same problem with the Jettas, their 2.0 is a Turbo. Geico and Progressive didn't figure it out until about two years later.

(Geico = Government Employees Insurance Co. that should explain a lot)
