Noob question

Hey this is going to be a really dumb question but I just accidentally put 3 dollars worth of 87 grade gas in the tank of my 09 SS but then I realized my mistake and quickly put in 15 dollars worth of premium. Will my car be affected in any way by this?

It might run a little rough but no big deal! Just burn it and put premium back in man

No. You're fine.

For a stock tune, premium fuel is "recommended." For a GM stage tune, premium is "required." Even if you have a GMS1 tune or a custom tune your car would likely not notice. Worst case is it would pull timing from knock retard but that is highly unlikely.

Do you really think someone with a noob question knows what pulling timing from the knock retard means?

Maybe, maybe not. Doesn't really matter. I try not to assume what someone knows or doesn't. If they don't know and want to know, they can ask or google search for the answer.
