So now i ask of you, what can i do to make my car faster then a stock srt 4? that cost around 300$ is it possible? or will i have to save a lil more?

you should do what YOU wanna do... you'll end up wasting money if you rush to do a bunch of little mods just to try to one-up someone...car modding takes time, as we all know

well we are going to the track friday so ima see if i can get some torque bracers over nighted for a start, i wont beat him this week but im aiming for next friday.

when did u move to VIrginia!? We miss you at the track! i think im the top cobalt there now, i havent seen one get lower then 14.9. U were the the fastest before u left ( that i seen)

i doubt you'll beat him, or even close... i would work on the driver mod first, then worry about getting faster... the faster you get the harder it will be to drive well... start slow (no pun intended) and work your way up

i didnt see any cobalts hitting 14.s stock at our track, its mad humid in florida. I seen stock srt 4's run 15's too.

I think cobalt burst best stock was like 14.8 right cb?

 

wow... yea, if you're the top cobalt and you're best is 14.9 looks like lots of people need the driver mod!

Hey i never claimed to be super driver. There are only a hand ful of cobalts that went to the track the times ive been there, and other then Cobaltburst ( who has moved) none of them were getting 14's. I myself have only got 14.9 once, and a 15.01 another time.

I mean its completely stock.

When the coolest you can get your car is 190 degrees and a half assed track i mean your not gonna be hitting 14 flats out the gate. Im really proud of my 14.9.

So why dont you say something constructive instead of being dumb f*cks to someone in your community who was only asking for some advice from the people who felt like responding.

I hit a 14.6 stock.
not only does the humidity suck but the track is REALLY bad... no traction, times are off....

 

my 600 EATS cbrs for breakfest and munches on yamahas for lunch.

 

so stage 3, intake , torque bracer + exhaust only knocked off .5 off your time? i thought it would be more then that?

yeah people dont know that the track is horrible. they just assume we suck.

Thought u had intake and torque bracer when u hit that 14.6?

Maybe mine is just slow from the factory lol.

 

By the way im still waiting for someone to tell me wats the best way to spend 300$ or if i should just save for stage 1 from gm.
