Odd HID headlight Pattern...

Ok so I just installed my new HIDs with Projector Headlights last night and I tried lining them up. As far as I can tell they are level but for some reason I have a line of light that looks like a small smile. Meaning the beam from the lights when I shine them on a flat surface is slightly curved and dropping down in the middle.

Does anyone know why this might be? the lights themselves work great but it bugs me that I don't have a flat view plain.. anything I can do?

I'm thinking you mean the little Z like pattern in your light beam. Thats what happens in projector lights, in order to keep a side cutoff (for the ditch/deer) and not blind everybody else on the road. It does look a little funny, but unless yours are really misaligned, it shouldn't be a problem.

I do have the Z like pattern also. which I understand is normal however the entire beam instead of being a straight line has a curve to it , like my car is smiling with it's headlights...know what I mean?

did you put the bulbs in the right way and did you cut the little notch in your projectors so the bulbs sit in there correctly?

I'll get to that, I'm at work right now so I can't go and take pics till it's dark anyways, just wanted to see if anyone had maybe seen this before and knew what I was talking about and had a quick fix.

I bought them pre-installed. So I guess the answer is no?
