balts with side airbags didnt come with one. it would be nice to put a custom one on the door somewhere though so that you can do some spirited driving without flopping your passenger all over the place. i know when riding as passenger in my car it would be a lot more comfortable to take fast turns with one.

 

My sedan has one. Most people don't use it though. A lot of people that ride with me either put their hand out the window and hold on to the roof or brace their hands on the ceiling and their feet on the floor.

 

That makes sense, question answered.

 

Yeah my brother reached for an OSH my in my IRL and was not very happy to not find one. I too thought it was funny. That is what he gets for making me grab for the handle is his POS cars.

 

LOL Went through this today with my friend today

Told him to get in the back seat and use the front seat lol

Pretty sure it's just the guys with sunroofs that don't have OS handles or proper dome lights, I've got a sunroof and no handle. I do have a dome light. . .now There's a thread somewhere for this.

Would make sense though if it were because of the side airbags.

 

um i have an ss/sc with the handle 06 no side air bags no sunroof

 

Hmm, must have came on the cars with no sunroof then

 

Sun roofs got nothing to do with it, if u hAve side air bags u don't got the handle

Simple end of story

 

I have no side curtain airbags and no handle...

 

If u got no curtain bags then u could most def add one
