Old Thread I know.. SEAFOAM

Alright, i know where Seafoam usually goes, But! The break booster on this car is impossible to get too, any suggestions where else it would be safe to put it besides the gas tank?... I was thinking the vacuum hose before the throttle body.. need some input por favor?

And i know this is an old thread but! the thread was back 2 years ago, so i thought i would start it again

You really dont need it unless you have like 100,000 miles on your car

My friend and I used this on his 1999 Audi S4, the engine had well over 100,000 miles on it and we expected it to SMOKE. We put the can of Seafoam roughly 50/50 in the gas tank and oil. Exhaust smelt pretty bad, but we didn't get as much as a puff of smoke. I'm sure the product worked, however I was sad not to get a smoke show.

I used it in my '88 Honda CRX with unknown mileage and I got a cloud of smoke like you wouldn't believe! Also, what looked like pepper was coming out with it

Alot of people use the brake vacuum line to get into the motor . I bought a can but haven't tried it yet , waiting till i get it out for the spring . It says you can add it to the gas tank and to the oil , but you have to change the oil like 50 miles after . Anyone know a good spot to suck it into a ss/sc .

If you didnt run it through the vaccum system you are not going to see smoke..

I contacted SEAFOAM and they replied that it is safe for all engines .. SC'ed turbo'ed intercooled any exotic cars. They also sent me some .doc's with info that i will post if they give me the OK .

Now i want to figure out how to do the upper end cleaning because ive had a idle misfire since the car had 10K miles on it . It doesnt throw a code but i can see it on a tech2 . Honestly i can't even feel it but knowing it's there is killin me lol. I won't be adding any to the oil cause at 18K it shouldn't have any oil deposits .... atleast i'd hope not . Any advice is welcome ...thanks .

gawd damn 70k? lol
the only vacuum i found is the one connected from before the throttle body into the back of the engine.
But i didnt see any smoke nor did the engine didnt stall
But it sucked the seafoam up
The break booster is impossible to get to in our car

I poured a bunch directly into the throttle body then reattached the intake and turned on the car

think of it like a motor steam cleaning ...chemical burns away corrosion then u turn the car on and the chemical gets burned away by the motor....all the bad **** goes out ur exhaust
