OMG not another rant!
Okay so this is my first rant so be gentle.
Is it just me, or isnt it annoying trying to pull out of a parking space when you are parked next to some big ass truck or SUV? For example, at school i have to park next to a big lifted truck that is ridiculously too big for a high school student parking lot. I mean I have to check, double check, and tripple check to make sure the coast is clear before I can leave the space. Its not fair to any economy car to have to go through that considering we use less gas than bigger vehicles. Im not downing SUV's or trucks but I think its unsafe and unfair.
Has anyone else gone thru this?

today i was sitting in the parking lot (which had a total of 5 cars) and a minivan pulled up right next to me like three inches away, lol not a truck but still people need to learn how to park not next to me
only thing i hate about big trucks is the retards who lift them up, and dont even attempt to change their headlight aiming.
and then you get the genius' who add a nice HID kit into their stock headlights for good measure.

As the owner of a lifted Jeep and a Cobalt SS/NA, I have to say it's a PITA to back out of spots in the cobalt, but it's equally as much a PITA to get into and out of the Jeep unless I have plenty of room on either side to swing the doors all the way open. LOL @ the pic posted above... Also, Anomolous, if you lift your vehicle enough you're never going to get your headlight aiming right because you'll either blind people far away that are oncoming or you will have to practically point the things at the ground and have terrible lighting for far-away objects (like deer in the road) and even then you'll STILL blind people when they get close to you. It's because those headlights are now at or above your windshield so you pretty much are damned if you do or damned if you don't when it comes to headlight adjustments. I've tried fine-tuning my headlight dozens of times in my Jeep, even taken it to a shop to have it professionally done and it never gets any better, I still have people flashing their brights at me on 2 lane roads.
I have yet to see anyone drive a minivan well. Minivan drivers are reckless. Even they are too big for their suburban, soccer mom, "careful" drivers.
I have people park WAY to friggin' close to me every damn day. Doesn't matter how far away from the building I park, I still get some douche that things it's a good idea to see how close to park without actually hitting my car.
My opinion is this: if you can't park it, you shouldn't ******* drive it. Pick up trucks and SUVs are a privilege, not a right. They really need to start adding more classes of vehicle above passenger car because too many people think just because they got the $$ that they can drive anything they can afford, and this just isn't the case.
Hell... what's with people not taking the time to line up correctly when they pull in. I do it sometimes with my Cobalt. Mainly because it never fails - when I don't center my car, some ass always has to get up close to me. So, I just reposition my car. Yeah, I look like an idiot, but it reduces unnecessary dings.

I just park well away from people. The way I see it is I don't mind walking so if I park way back in the corner then all the lazy people, suv, mini van moms will not park to close. Not to say it has not happened. Went to Wall mart the other day. Parked the car far away from any one and when i came out there was this navigator parked right next to me when there was plenty of other stalls all around. I swear the person did it on purpose.
I completely agree with you.
