Only Left (DS) High Beam Not Working.

Ideas on why?
Fuses good.
Bulbs good.
Harness on headlight good.
Replaced the column switch as well.

Is there something that would make this not work if it wasnt working? Kind of how cruise control wont engage if you have a brake light out?

Wiring diagram?

Regular light bulbs?
Check diagram
Light bulb filament good? (Probably an idiot assumption lol)

Hid?
Change sides of bulbs and ballasts.

That the only thing I can think of.

When you say the harness and fuse is good, you're saying you have checked with a meter?

I assume the first thing you did was put in a new bulb, right?

The three pin connector should be the big blue one. That is not a very high quality connector, so I could see a bent pin or bad connection there as well.

I would turn the high beams on and check for voltage at the fuse. If that's good, check voltage coming out of the connector and go from there.

Yes. I pulled good parts from my LSJ and nothing fixed it.

I'll grab a new multi tomorrow because I must have lost mine when I moved.

I wanted a diagram (thank you very much sir) and was just checking to see if it being out could be because something else failed. Like how cruise control shuts down when you have a tail light bulb out.

I have power at the fuse box and the headlight harness is good. I put it back in my LSJ and everything lights up correct. I guess a wire is broken between the harness and fuse.

Yes. Meter.

Did u check for corrosion behind the pin on the black ssquare plug on that side. I know these plugs corrode like no totomorrow. Also they sell that harness at the dealer. It's like 200$ iirc. Runs to both lights and such. Probably could run and overlay if u want.
Retros could solve those issues though

How could retros solves the issue?

I would tap the PS wires and run a jumper to the DS high beam before I spent $200 on a harness lol

Retros - you get a bi xenon harness that plugs into the 9007 plug of 1 side. Since ur DS is toast. PS will be plugged into. All connections will be done on that side and DS will be fed thru PS. Done. Normally it's DS because the fuse post is there.

Running a overlay or tapping into the opposite side could work. Overlay are safer as you pull it from the the harness plug that connects to the fuse box to the DS headlight. Running it your way is ok.too. you may just overload the PS circuit and cause the fuse to pop. Maybe. Could not always be that and could run perfect for.all we know.

I have always found it funny that GM used 4 fuses for the headlights on these cars. On my Saturn they used one relay and one fuses to control 4 bulbs (2 9005 and 2 9006).
4 bulbs on 1 10amp fuse in a saturn and 4 10amp fuses on 2 bulbs in the cobalt....

Yup. It's dumb but smart in their eyes. It relieves load on a single circuit honestly. The more amps u run thru a wire the hotter it gets.
