How do I find out what stage of production my SS/SC is in? Can I find it online or do I have to call the dealer?

 

Go to chevrolet.com and click on the locate vehicle, if there are any cars on it, it should have a vin# and the description of it.. It's the only way I know, instead of bothering the dealers every day till it comes in . Hope this helps!!

 

But people on here say they hear when their car is picked for production and whut not... where did they get this info? did they keep on callin the dealer or can it be looked up online

 

Your dealer gets a printout of all the vehicles they have ordered once a week. This printout gives the status of the car. It will have a code on it, this tells where it is in terms of order pull, production, and/or shipping. There are multible postings listing the code numbers and what they mean. Just check with your dealer and get the code then check the forums out for what the code means. Your code should be something like 2400, 3200, 3400, and so on. My last code I got was 3200. Mine is scheeduled for build on the week of the 18th and delivery on May 5

 

I feel sorry for you guy's that don't have your cobalt ss. good thing im not getting one. I will have my 05 crew cab xtreme before u guys have your small ss. lol jk

 

dealers normally get updates every wednesday

 

If you have your order# I can look it up for you in the production system and let you know were it is at. Just email it to me and I will see what I can find out.

why get a cobalt when z28 just right down the corner

 

yea i dont think they even make them no more

 

there thinking about making the z28 i think there going to do it too.

 

They scrapped the Idea of creating the Z28 again for now. It's all hear say for now... who knows. It would be nice if it did come back out again.
