I'm about to order a 2010 Cobalt SS and I wanted to know if there was any "Must Have" Items I should include and what factory defects I should look for upon delivery. Also what the average price people are paying for them.

 

LSD is about the only GOTTA have item... but I believe they are standard now on 2010s.

 

i payed a little over 21 i believe for mine, get RPD, Limited slip, and thats really it

 

The LSD and RPD are both standard on the 2010 so really the rest is up to you. Just check for scratches from delivery and stuff like that.

 

Was that a GMS price?

 

Most of that stuff is now standard.... so it's just up to you as far as upgrades... sunroofs and stuff like that!

I got mine out the door for 21k with a 1500 dollar rollover from my other car... LOADED with sunroof and LSD, and USB radio

 

i got for 21 b/c i bought an 08 when the 09's were out

 

Got mine for 20,xxx otd when the car was out for like 2 months in 08

LSD was the only option

 

Same with me... LSD was my only option

 

Only necessary option/one that matters.

I have a sunroof... it was a necessity for me douche!

 

The dealer was talking 23,8XX with the LSD and the front plate bracket as the only options

I'm willing to put 100 bucks on a road course on my car though

I know in Michigan there's like 10 in a 300 mile area. They're going to build some mid December so check your dealers in January

 

i found one about 50 miles away..but its not the one i want. gotta have victory red or blue. closet red one is 120 miles away lol and no blue ones even show up

 

Sunroof is standard for 2010... all of them will have it. High rise is gone, from the factory anyway you can have it added at the dealer. The only factory option is LSD.

 

Is it true that the 2010's will have black granite metallic as a color option?

 

Yea. I just bought the only blue 09 with the LSD in 300 miles. I would have had to order a blue 2010. No one has blue ones.
