Parting Out Maybe?

Now I am by no means getting rid of the balt, but I may consider selling all of my aftermarket parts in order to fund my dream project. If I find a Honda CRX at a reasonable price, I will be selling most of my mods in order to pay for it and a K20A crate engine, and I will spend however much time it takes to do the swap.

Now don't get me wrong, I love my cobalt, but I would like to get more indepth with cars, and it's something I'll never be able to do with my cobalt which is rebuilding a car from the ground up, I just want something I can work on a daily basis, without worrying about transportation issues, and having the glory of doing everything myself.

I will keep you guys updated if I find a car/shell to work on, but i will definitely keep my cobalt as my daily driver, so no worries

Any comments?

How far are you willing to go for it? I know there is a CRX shell for sale in Kansas City, MO.

Well if it drives I will get it anywhere and drive it back to NY, but as for non-working, only within 200 miles probably lol

i have a friend that wanted to get into his crx but changed his mind and his looks pretty clean, its a 88crx painted a darkish gray, he got brand new tires on steelies and just swapped the clutch and flywheel. its lowered on coilovers. but i dont kno much about the car. he would prolly let it go for 1500. sounds a little high but thats what he paid for it before he did anything. we're all the way down in south florida and if you wanted i could get some pictures.

hack, you can have a car shipped up the east coast for about 1500 bucks, it sounds like a lot, but the cost of flying down, driving up, gas, time off from work, it's pretty even.

i think its reliable enough for the trip, and i think a crx is a great idea. if you go on ebay and look up cobalt you dont even get half as much as if you were to look up crx. theres so much of an aftermarket for that car and its so cheap that for the learning experience you are looking for it would be a good idea.

Is there anything wrong with the car? has it been in any accidents? Is there any rust?

Yeah, but it would also be a Honda in the twelves if I pull it off. I think that overweighs the whole honda issue.

Think about it, a stock engine in the twelves. Street Legal. Sleeper!

Add some nitrous and I would **** my pants
