PCV system routing through head?

I was wondering if anyone had a diagram or any information on how the PCV ports are routed through the head (do they go into the block at all?). I have an L61 head trying to make it work properly with a LSJ intake manifold. From what I have read it sounds like the stock manifold on the L61 just has a specifically sized orifice in the intake manifold that controls PCV flow rate. The LSJ manifold has a check valve and I don't know how the orifice sizes compare.

Since I have routed the LSJ orifice to the port on my head my oil consumption has gone up significantly compared to when I just had the PCV port on the manifold blocked off and used a breather filter. The oil consumption is clearly prevalent in the middle cylinders #2 and #3. There is sufficient evidence to suggest that I may be getting oil in the intake manifold through the PCV port/valve. I am trying to figure out if that is possible and if it is what I need to do to correct the issue. I am not getting oil in the intake track from the breather line nor am I accumulating much in my catch can.
