Photoshop of my Cobalt SS

Just had her waxed and sealed today, so I decided to take some pictures.

Here is a photoshopped version one one of them.

Camera was a Canon eos 300d.

Lots of soft focus, B&W blue filter, Levels.

that is one sweet pic. you need to black out your headlights and your SS would look awesome. that camera takes some nice pics.

Thanks Yeah I love my camera. I should have taken off the liscense plate though lol.

I like the headlights as they are on my car, but the black ones do look pretty sick.

nice pic, just a thought maybe put your watermark on the bottom or make it smaller I found it obtrusive.

Thanks , I did the watermark just so someone wouldn't claim it to be theirs. I don't mind people using it for wallpaper or whatever, I'd like to know about it.

Nice. The shot would be perfect if not for the shadows on the car.

I like the shadows, helps bring out some of the contrast in the car's lines.

yeah get some more up.. i would be interested in getting a few hi-res/full size photos for some desktop backgrounds.. watermark and all

also, did you emboss the front end? or is it naturally looking like that? if it's embossed i'd probably lighten it a little

The fog lamps should be sharper, hard to decide on if I like it or not. I wanted an almost "dream like" appearance. I'll try to correct it though, you're right about it needing to be more clear.

Heres another shot I took a while ago:

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...ht=super+sport

Edit:

I just did a B&W overlay with the origional and the front actually was like that in the color version without any other adjustments. It's out of focus but doesn't seem to be exposed until I convert it to B&W

And I'm saying the same thing about black...that I regret changing my colour on my 2006 order from black to blue. But, the more I look at blue, the more I like it. Don't get me worng, black is my favourite colour on cars but I've always had black cars so I wanted to try something different.

Very nice!

My better halfs daughter works in a photo lab and she hopes to be a photographer one day, she shot some pics of my better halfs GTO, I need to see if I can dig them up. She used a lens that made the headlights seem to have a sun flare effect, really cool.
