Pics-Low SS with 1" spacers lnf/lsj wheels

My buddy darnell just added 1" spacers all around on his 05 ss/sc, hes a member but never posts so im sharing his pictures because I remember a couple people wanting to know how it looked:

before:

after

winter setup:

Stock tire size, is rubbing a bit on bumps, will need one size skinnier next time he buys tires. These are 1" wheel spacers for $119 on ebay with a hub centric design. He had to cut the tip off the studs but DID NOT REMOVE any of the thread just the end. No wheel wobble at all!!! Makes the car look damn good.

Damn that looks good!, what springs/struts is he on? When you say he cut the end of the studs but not any thread, do you mean he took off all the metal to the first set of threads? pics of studs before the wheel went back on?

Looks great. They have .5 ,or .75 inch spacers ? I think those would be perfect, no problems.

problem is you have to go big or go home otherwise that style of spacer probably wont work because at .5/.75" the studs are going to stick up too much. So youd have to get new studs.

looks like it would put a lot of torsion on the wheel bearings if you use the same wheel offset.

In my case idt im as low as you, on stock struts nd lowering springs atm. But will i rub... Is it worth the 119 $ risk...
