myself, my girl, and my buddy all applied and were accepted. my buddy is the only one of us so far who has paid the $90 to get the deals and honestly some of them don't seem bad if you can meet the qualifications. they also seem to refund some of the money on the parts you buy if you meet more of their qualifications in the future. could definitely be worth it if you plan on showing your car (and winning trophies and awards) at major venues a lot.

I did that on my old car and prices that they gave me was good especially on stereos systems and stuff. Window tint was like $10 for the whole car. Just I ended up rolling my car so that idea went out the window and I was out $90. O well. If u have the time and money to do it go right on ahead.

later

i dont trust anything that makes you pay for a sponsorship. If they want you to promote their business then you should be doing it to help them for no cost unless you are sponsored with percentages off products....not having to spend x amount of dollars even before you receive anything from them. Most of what i have pursued are partial sponsorships which offered large discounts off parts but you definately have to prove to manufacturers and companies that you plan on going full force into racing and or car shows and the car has to be worthy of them cutting you discounts of almost half the price of products. i have been fortunate thus far and definately plan on pursuing some full sponsorships in the near future. going after large name brands like JL Audio or Audiobahn or any rim and tire manufacturer etc. is probably not the best thing to do right off the bat either. its the smalled companies who look to push sponsorships to get their name out there.

i was definitely skeptical at first until my buddy showed me how it works and the deals you can get for winning at shows. if you buy some stuff and win in certain instances, they'll refund the purchase price. he's working on free lambo doors by placing at HIN, for example, and if he doesn't place, then it's still ok with him because he gets a good deal on them anyways.

Thats the oldest fake car sponsorship ever, you pay for stickers, and you put them on your car.
