Also the control box for the lights/strobes/siren is on ebay pretty cheap. I'll need to find a siren as well. If you check out yahoo stores, theres some traffic light changers as well careful though, many of them activate that white flood light, and take a picture of the car that activated it, unless you spend another $200 and get a "stealth" one, that shouldn't do anything except turn the light green. I wont be using that sucker too often, and as far as the rest goes, I figure it'll be fun to pull into a friends house while a party's goin on and hit all the stuff! Other than that, when people drive up close and see the police badging they'll wonder, but "know better", then when the Kband goes to max on their detector, there wont be much tailgating me. lol

i have a cb antenna that is removable, it is on a magnet. Its still in my civic though.

My last car was a 1995 crown victoria police interceptor. White. The chrome rims gave it away though. Anyway, I wouldn't want to look like a cop. You would just get laughed at by other people, and hassled by real cops.

Take it from as a member of the law enforcement community, you are looking for nothing but problems and trouble from a simply STUPID idea.

This is where moderation becomes handy. It's already been stated, but that picture in his signature file is from the video game series "Resident Evil". For SelfInfliction to say it was a symbol of a hate group was really very ignorant. But this is the internet, there is a lot of ignorance, and that's allowed. Like this:

Actually, such laws vary from state to state. What you may know to be illegal there in Texas may be just fine in Florida.

Because they're stupid.
And if you don't have a hard time understanding my other 21 posts about the police department knowing me personally, (not for stupid reasons), you'll understand why I could do practically anything to my vehicle and get away with it.

Too many times someone asks a question about HOW to do something, or where to go to find out, and everyone thinks this invites them to try and give their speech about what they THINK laws are, and how they apply to you, or their opinion, and no support of what you actually created the thread for.
If you wanna screw up someones thread do it somewhere else, or at least not in mine.

To each there own Ajent, and yeah you are in another state than mine (NY) but here is what NYS V& T law clearly states under section 375 sub 41. Colored and flashing lights. The provisions of this subdivision shall govern the affixing and display of lights on vehicles, other than those lights required by law. 1. No lights, other than a white light and no revolving, rotating, flashing, oscillating or constantly moving light, may be affixed to, or displayed on any vehicle except those prescribed herein. The section goes onto to describe each colored light (RED, police, fire and EMS) BLUE, volunteer firefighters) Amber, tow trucks, plows etc.

Nice to know that civilians in your state that know the police dept are able to do anything they want.

There is a guy I know that has a WRX with the police car theme. He has the spot lights, and strobes in the headlights, and the tail lights. The paint is black and white, but no decals or symbols. He rolls up to parties with strobes on and the new people start to freak out.

Good way to scare the hell out of your friends, as stated before some states allow it an others don't and Florida is a state that does not allow it (Section 316.2397 and 316.2398 and it is a violation of these sections and is a non criminal traffic infraction, punishable as a non moving violation, basically a slap on the wrist). If your not bothered than what the hay right, I just think that sooner or later anyone that does this will find trouble. Have fun with it

Lol, apparently people can't read.
No i'm not as familiar with people in daytona, as I live in ormond.
I know the consequences and even stated in a few posts not to reply with this kind of repetitious information that I have entirely no use for.
If you're upset by it, don't read the post. But I don't need to click a subscribed post thinking i'm finding new information, or something relevant, just to see something I asked multiple times not to do.
Thanks.

I can read looks like daytona beach to me, if you want to call me out then do so, if you dont like comments then dont make a thread, simple as that, oh I forgot you know the police dept, forgive me, see I don't need to "know" the police dept because I happen to be one of it's members, yeah big deal right but that doesnt seem to matter to certain members as they think they are ABOVE the law

Lol, I don't give a damn if you work for the pope. Keep your stupid law comments to yourself.
And if you can read you'll notice (ormond) in my location, AND in the map listed as ormond.
You're not very observative for a member of the police force. Hopefully nobodies life rests in your hands.
I'm going to put more illegal stuff on just to spite you, and there's nothing you can do about it.

As for the comments, you just recite the same bullshit other people have learned to stop. NOBODY cares who you work for, if you're not contributing to the post in a matter that the post asks for, stop being a moron trying to jack it, pig.
The Entire, Sole purpose of a thread, is to get the responces back, that you asked for. I can't find where I asked to give me the laws on anything. Apparently you don't know how forums are meant to be. Learn some self restraint and stop screwing up threads.

Nice post but what more can one expect from you other than what we see here. I love your little sign thingee, nice work,. Let me know when you visit NY, I'd love to see your little pretend police car. I can show you around and bring you back to the real world so you won't have to keep pretending that you are something you are not. Must ne nice to be able to live is fantasy land. I am surprised you haven't been on MTV on the Real World show. You gave me a great idea, I am going to make my cobalt the first Catholic themed car, damn why didn't I think of that myself, oh thats right I have no observation skills, what was I thinking.

See now you had to make it personal as where I had left it an opinion without attacking you as a person, guess I'll take my ball home now because someone doesn't like to play fair.

Yes, bow down and love it.
If you think you're in a 'rough' place for being in NY, instead of trying to brag like it's something cool..Move.

See now I guess you have already blew it as ever being a cop, your observation skills are even worse than mine. Where did I ever say where I live in NY was rough and tried to make it sound cool? I love my job and upstate NY. Guess I'll have to be the responsilbe one here and stop this, enjoy your car man and please when you get it "equipped" please post some pics, I'd love to see them.

Yeah I bet you would. and I'm always observative.
FYI, I gave up on the police idea when I removed my radar.
As cool as it was, it wasn't the same kind of 'show' I'm interested in at the moment.
You're still worked up I suppose as your typo's haven't left.
Also, you want to 'take me around' and show me reality?
what reality would you be talking about unless it's a rough enviornment? Tulips and grassy hills?

And if you want to be "responsilbe", delete your posts and clean up this thread.

Weird, NY cops must act differently than every cop i've met in every state i've been in.
Or is this just your E-personality?

Would that be observant not observative???? seems your fingers work like mine too, don't rag on typo's unless you are Mr. Perfect yourself!!!!!
