There's a big national MINI meet at The Dragon the first weekend of May, I'll be going to that in the Cobalt (best friend owns an MCS). Definitely be a cool place to get together.

I voted for Chicago, but would come to Chicago or St Louis. Where is Tail of the Dragon located in NC? I've never even heard of it before.

haha lets let it run for a while and get more opinions, not to many votes yet. If this is going to be big id expect to see no less than around 100 votes.

Speaking of Tail Of The Dragon, If we do cruise on it, you guys better hope that there aren't any trucks along the tail, ya feel me? Check it!

My vote is Indy.

I voted STL because everyone knows where that is and it has a major interstate coming to it from all directions so no matter where you come from you could get there easy.

However, depending on what time of year this happens I'm up for going anywhere.

I'm up for the Dragon or Indy, anything past those two are too far for me to drive.

Id say wait a little longer to see where is the best location. The way I see it we need to first plan a good location for everyone and then shoot for timing. For example we can do Tail of the dragon any time of the year but if it were in St. Louis or Indy we might want to try and schedule it along with another event such as a NOPI event or The Winged Warrior III event.

Oh come on there will be people driving from across the country for this. Suck it up and be a trooper. Chicago or STL are not that much father then Indy from you. We can't plan a national meet around you.

http://www.tailofthedragon.com/cherohala.html looks to be bitchin.

Tail of the Dragon: Alot of curves in 11 miles...

Cherohala: Alot of ups and downs in 16 miles...both in NC.

Ya got me doc. Maybe they just thought, "Oh, I'll be ok. I've been doin this for 35 sumthn' or other odd yrs!!!" Little did they know. Did you click on my link? Scroll down and check them pics out. I wouldn't want to be caught in a situation like that!

The ONLY reason I'd go to Deal's Gap is for the Dragon. Indy is the only one that's a do-able drive for me. Y'all were only asking for input or where to have the thing, I never really said I'd go or not. Besides, chances are it'd be on a race weekend anyway and I couldn't go.

If the turn out is good this year and if its on the east coast we could do locations for the meet on the west coast next year.

The dragon run is great, I was just there a few days ago. I would definately go back for a Cobalt gathering.
