i certainly agree but we'll go for a location first then vote on timing and events. I say at the earliest Mid May at the lastest mid late September. But we will address that later.

um, north carolina would be the last place to have a CENTRALIZED meet..... stl is a big city with more things to do that in the middle of kansas.

I'm voting for CHicago. To me NC would be cool, BUT, its not too central, its ont he east coast. STL, Indianapolis, or Chicago (especially with the people on the west coast, most people don't want to go coast to coast) is exactly central, and would enable more of the Canadian members to come as well.

Also, NC is NOT central.

Also, Crate Engine Depot could be there if it was in Chicago/Indianapolis/St. Louis, and the meets that they take part in are top notch and incredibly fun! And you always walk away with something, memories or other stuff.

Why not be fair to everyone and put it in a nationwide centralized location.
Like Oklahoma city or something. somewhere that California people can't complain that Florida is closer or vice versa

I agree, this thing isn't going to work. If its on the east or west coast, just make it an east and/or west coast meet. NC is not central, and yet that is where people want it. I don't think this will work.

I would love to, but anywhere is a ******* journey for me. Its 5-6 hours to get out of FL, then i got a hell of a trip for anywhere else. I would like to go but it has to be a vacation for me where I can take like 3 days off. Not likely just for a car meet.

Well that is a good way to think of things try and do an east and west thing however we would need coordinators for both east and west. I myself would be helping to organize the east side. So maybe the next step is a poll, east west or national ill get on that.

Exactly, which is why I voted for Chicago. Its a centralized location for all involved and has a ton of interstates coming into it, which will be easy for people to get to. St Louis would be cool though becuase we could set up a drag meet at the Gateway International Speedway.

By the way, a comment was made about Tail of the Dragon being the most famous road, if its so famous, why have I never heard of it? To me, the only most famous road is Route 66.

why don't you just do a coordinated Meet at ALL locations simultaneously.
You'd get a lot higher turn out than if you tried to do just one place
