Possible for us?

To remove the MAF completely? I heard on some vehicles its possible, but not sure on our vehicles.

I've searched google.com, but I guess I'm typing in the search wrong. Anyone else heard of this?

K Thanks for your answer. Saw the previous 'No you can't' without anything to back up so I tend not to believe that. Which is why I am asking this question. Didn't know if they were BSing on the subject or what.

And stupid SAFC-II is being gay...that's a way around it I guess. Guess I will keep up trying configurations to try and find the right one for the Cobalt. And just so you guys know how many there are...try about 9,408 ways. I think I did the math right. Both sensors number sides can go up to 56 and there are three different Calculations you can set.

Thanks for the replies.

damn bro... good luck with that.... its just the way the pcm works.... uses maf and map (at least on ours) so you kinda need it unless as I stated before you go stand alone

doesnt the safc just adjust the sensor going from the maf to the computer, so if you dont have that sensor then you wouldnt be able to use the safc if i am thinking properly

It runs off the MAP sensor as well. If the Cobalt can adjust the A/F(highly doubtful) from just the MAP sensor I can follow the Cavalier setup.

Might be awhile before this is cracked lol.
