stage 2 isn't a win win unless your racing a stock vs stage 2. The situations change when adding power and your throttle response with your mods is something I just don't have with my restrictive exhaust and intake. now lets say I had an intake and exhaust before stage 2 then installed it. The flow would be stupid high and you woulda been staring at my ass each race. throw in the gm spec 2.8 swap and you woulda had trouble seeing my car. Adding the ability to throw in more boost and fuel is not ideal when your flowing too rich to start off.

im going to but see I have an 05 and I was sitting with my thumb up my ass waiting for people to get the parts and see what happens. The only sure shot mod I knew which would work was the gm stage 2 albeit there are lots of other mods that have come and gone. I was one of the ones that wanted in on the tog headers but I backed out and look what happened to those. So I decided to wait and cel after cel later with other cars stage 2 came out and that is why i dont have more mods already. I will get stuff in a very short amount of time now though

Believe it or not, I just got the magnaflow put on in place of the flowmaster for $103, but I already had the 2.5" rear section on it. It was $198.62 for the complete install of my flowmaster, so it would be the same price for magnaflow.

EDIT* And P7X!!! Holy Crap were you trying to send him 100 yards!!! Damn I would have pissed myself!!! Sounds good non the less, but I still like my K&N

that's not too bad..are the gains good with it? i dunno how restrictive your stock catback is, but it's decently loud.

Here is the dyno off of Magnaflow's website. It says 7hp and 13 ft-lbs of a gain. If you look at the curve it is mostly it the low to mid range. This is the one that I am considering for mine.

I'd say 5-7 hp is about right. I was coming from a flowmaster to a magnaflow so it was prolly more like 10-12 for me.
EDIT* It seems like I must have gained close to 20 lb/ft of torque as well. My car in first gear is out of hand, it has no traction what so ever, and torque steers like a ****! Even when I'm going straight!!! Never used to do it with the flowmaster.
