Powell Tow Hook License Plate Mount

*John asked me to make a thread since I just picked one of these up at CED and there isn't a dedicated thread for it yet since they are pretty new.

This is one of the new things he has been working on.

Uses the same bracket for your front license plate or a tow hook.

*My car has the rear tow hook bracket on the front, which is why is sticks out so far from the bumper. That's been low on my list of things to fix, so meh.

Car is dirty. Deal with it...

As always, contact Gloria (gloria at powellraceshop dot com) for price and purchasing options. I'm just here to post the pictures...

Bracket: Notice how there is a top piece of metal and bottom piece that sandwich onto the hook bracket for stability. There is no way the plate will contact with the car.

So it does. It's low on my to-do list but maybe I'll bump it up now... It still works and whatnot. But this way you can see how it works better? Yeah, I'll go with that...

That's actually a really cool idea. I didn't know they made those. If I ever get to putting my front one on id have to pick one of those up.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm wondering where you got the front plate mount from. The tow hook I know comes from Powell, but I haven't seen the plate mount anywhere.

They're worth every penny. Plates hold up pretty decent, I've gone up to 135ish and the plate never hit my bumper

I love my quick release front plate bracket and tow hook.
It's a quality product, is functional and always turns heads when I swap out one for the other

Well found the price for the tow hookd on the powell thread 95$ front, 150$ front/back. Don't know the price of the bracket itself tho. Emailed gloria already tho

I paid 50 for the plate bracket and 25 each for the quick disconnect pins (front and back). But that was a year ago on the dot. As ECaulk said, prices may have gone up.
