I drove around a little today and don't have any complaints. I just put the backs on because I did all the rotars and pads and it was like 100* in my garage and I was sweating *****. I'm goin to put the fronts on tomorrow morning so I can see how it looks. Personally I like it like this it looks pretty much level now.

Dunno why people rag on lowering springs, obviously Coilovers are **** but I mean, I've had sportlines for almost a year now and I LOVE them

No problem with my sportlines. I like em and sure they may be bouncy at times but it handles better and looks 100x better than stock. Plus they matched my car lol

If moneys an issue dont mod your car, its unnecessary. Buy the best and you only cry once

You WANT to leave those on. When I got my sportlines the first time I thought they were just some protective sleeves and took them off. Old design had some tubing coiled around the top coils that compress the most with some oil in the tubing. I guess that's the new design but to make the story short if you take them off, install the springs and put them on the car, top coils will bind and make a horrible cracking noise when turning. Those sleeves just prevent the coil on coil rubbing when they bind under tension.

A lot are shorter but sportlines definitely bind a lot from previous experience and trust me taking out the strut assembly for the second time just to take off the springs to put those gay sleeves on definitely taught me a lesson on not removing things unless it specifies to do so lol

I noticed the sportlines were the same size as my originals they even looked a bit taller. I didn't take m off because i thought they were to protect the coils lol and I was right

And mine are real and have the same black rubber on them. I bought them from Eibach website

what are you silly? you running KW2's? if not then GTFO.

Im not broke, just cant justify that much for springs, and when i bought my sportlines, Pedders were out for the Cobalt yet. had them over 4 years now.

BTW: BEST is Opinion based, its all in what you want.

When you guy put on the fronts do you smash that little plastic shroud type deal up? I measured an inch lower from that and it seems like that will drag on the ground.
