But I wonder how much you can get out of it. Is it worth $100 for a set of 4?

If that $100 giving you 3000 miles is a good deal? Ill tell you a little story. This spring I was in Washington state. Thought id give em a try. so i bought them. Put them in the day I left Wa for Mi. Got to Mi. Got another week out of the plugs. On my way home from work one night, the balt started running like ****. Swung into the nearest auto parts store. Pulled plugs. #4 had the bottom of the spark plug missing. Red2.4SS bought them at the same time. His ended with the same result. They didnt work in his car, he sold them to someone else. Same result as mine after less than a week in that other cobalt.

Not suprising.

I believe there was another thread about these plugs a while back and there was a post with an e-mail someone sent the manufacturer. The company responded that even though they said the plugs would work in the SS, they hadn't tested them in the car and were interested to see how the plugs would work in a blown application. Great R&D.

Just buy Autolite XP Iridiums. OEM is the way to go with plugs unless your running a high output system then get Bosch 4+......

do NOT buy bosch plugs for a cobalt.
as much as bosch is a respected brand, nearly everyone who has ran bosch has had MAJOR issues with them.

just get NGK or Autolites

Id suggest copper for the slightly better conductivity and performance in boosted apps.
Iridiums are for soccer moms who only want to change plugs every 60k miles

I agree unless you are running them in a stock engine. I would just use what came with the car if you have no engine mods.
