Putting the ÁC back in

Alright guys for some reason the previous owner disconnected the ÁC in the car. I was going to put it back in and had some questions. I don't want to buy new crap so I'm going to hit up the junk yard. The car needs the condenser and the lines. Can I get it from a base model or is the SS different? There's a couple base models at the local junk yard so that would be nice if I could get the parts from one of them. Thanks

what do you mean by disconnected? Did they just unplug the wire for the compresser or did they remove the whole system?

The car is an 06 ss/sc. I haven't looked at any base models yet I just saw they had them at the junk yard. Honestly I've never even looked under the hood of a base model. I just don't want to buy the **** new so that would be nice if It was a direct swap.

Ahh that's good. I was really wondering about the lines. I don't know where the pump is on the base models. Cant find if it's in the same place or not. I tried googling images of the engine bay but it's all covered up. I would think they would be in the same place for the people that do the sc swap on the base models but just wanted to be sure.

Alright one more question. How many AC lines are there? I have one line that came with the car. What else do I need? The AC was never installed when I had it so I don't know what it's supposed to look like.

The line that comes from the fire wall is gone too. This is lame I don't know why anyone would take the AC out of a car. Would you be a gent and take a picture of what I am missing?

could be one of many reasons why its not there, someone probably did it thinking would reduce weight.... could have been in an accident with front end damage and they never replaced the system etc etc

Ok i found a parts diagram, you need 3 lines, one which you have which is the the lower pressure hose which is part 8 in the diagram, the other two you need is the return line assembly, thats the on that goes into fire wall, the other is the upper pressure hose.
