Quick Question
Hi guys. First off I just joined the forum today even tho I been reading it for a bit. I been doing resource on what my next car should be and I have narrowed it down to a few selections: Cobalt SS/SC, Mazdaspeed 3, GTI 2.0T, and maybe the Caliber SRT-4. Pretty much I'm shooting for an new 07. What I like most about the Cobalt rite now is that its unique cuz it has a s/c instead of a turbo like everyone else but again I been working on rx-7s snice I was 11 with my big bros so there is nothing like a sound of that turbo making sweet music to my ears. On the plus tho it doesnt take much to get these bad boys hitting the 12s and its pretty darn cheap too. So if at all possible can I get some feed back and perhaps if anyone was in the same situation as myself tell me how/why u chose the Cobalt over the other choices. Thanx for your time.

It would take like 3k to get the cobalt in the 12's unless you use nitrous. Go with what you like. From reading your post it seems like your pretty hooked on a turbo.

Meth injection....... < I dont know if you consider this cheating.
Maybe a heat exchanger if anyone would post some gains.
Custom tune
Slicks
You might need new axles and probably a new clutch. If you can install the stuff yourself it will save alot of money.

Hmmm, 3 wagons and a coupe, the choice would be easy for me. But, it seems allshot is right, turbo appears to be your thing.
