Wife used to work for a dealer, said the only way she knew of would be to do a Carfax history on the VINs. Dealership would have a list of the VINs for the SS/SCs they've sold. Don't know how willing they would be to give that list up. Though, they may have to, I don't know, though.

Now that I think about it, you should be able to get their billing list (list of all vehicles they have/had) and run a Carfax off of that. Long hours in research, though.

Also keep an eye out for people on this forum that work at dealerships, I know there are a few lurking around somewhere. They may have a better idea.

i woudlnt think the dealer could b/c your insurance company determines if its toatled. The best bet is to go look in larger salvage yards. sometime big salvage yards have there own website. gtped@msn.com he has parts listed on ebay and he runs a salvage yard also.

Dealers don't have access to that information. They can find out form carfax, but the only thing the dealers track is service history (service/recalls/change of ownership) and customer history.

Look up sites like "rebuildable wrecks" and "flood cars"
