I've driven mine through some pretty deep snow and did not have any problems with it being as low as it is. I did however have traction issues in the snow

you could alway put on a airride system.... most kits will lift the ride hight, and put in on the ground when u want to...

I've had my front chin effects off a couple times. It takes about 30 minutes to do and it looks stupid as hell because it leaves about 15 holes in the front bumper. It should however be fine in the snow. As far as the rest of the car...it's no all-terrain cruiser.

P.S. This one ^ only took about 5 seconds to do and it's deffinetly NOT the way you want to go about taking off your front lip.

I live in Edmonton, and have driven mine through 3 feet of snow with no problem. Get yourself a good set of winter tires and you will be fine. The bumper is flexible, and generally just "cuts" through the snow. I have the clear bra on my car, but never had any problem with it (though it worried me too). It is really only like 1/2 an inch lower than the 2.4L SS front bumper.
