Well....I don't usually do this but I am tired of just sitting here and not saying anything.
A lot of people have been saying lately how they are not happy with the "crappy build" of the car.
My question is....what do you expect from a $25,000 car?? They are not made anything like a Lexus, or a Mercedes. And even then those cars have problems too.
We own a MACHINE. No machine is invincible and will last forever without a single problem. I bought a Toyota 5 years ago thinking that I would get kick ass reliabilty and have little or no problems. Sadly I was mistaken because I had nothing but clutch issues with the car the whole time I owned the car.
We all have to remember that these things will break. Now I do know some of us have more then the fair share of problems, but when you take a car and modify it....things change and usually have a greater chance of breaking.
So lets all calm down and remember that we own a car that is not hand built and will have mistakes somewhere and just deal with it and move on instead of dragging out the problem for weeks and bitching and complaining every second on the site.

Well, regardless of how much a car costs-
Keys should not get stuck in the ignition.
Window seals should not have to be realigned after the car is built.
You should be able to shift out of Park.
Interior pieces should not chip from just touching them and be replaced with interior pieces that chip from just touching them.
Steering columns and intermediate shafts should not have to be replaced within 2 years of ownership.
The Cobalt has more problems than a car in any price range should have and GM is blind to its build quality, which just happens to be poor. Just da facts!
