Ok, There have been 2 times now where people have been hating sooooo hard on the Cobalt. 1st. There was a shitty old Nova with a HUGE hood scoop and he was pacing me, so i did what everyone else would and slammed 2nd at about 40 mph and smoked him... He yeled as we stoped at the light get a ''Real mans car"...hahahahahaha Now today there was a biker wearing tights on a road bike I went past him and I guess he was mad too and yeled "Get a REAL car" I hit the breaks and waited for him and asked him kindly whats a REAL car? He laughed nerviously... hahaha

So now what is this REAL car people want me to have??? Anyone have this happen to them??

My friends "real car" was a big ass lifted truck but he got tired of the 7 mpg so he got himself a stratus rt and engine swapped it with a eclipse gsx motor. Thats his real car now lol he was talking **** to me this past saturday night and after having a few beers in me I got tired of it so we took them out and he got to tell me that my car was a little dirty from the back

i had an old guy look at my car and ask is this a real SS? I said yes and he started to ask about it, his first question was is it a V8? i laughed and started telling him about the specs, he was impressed and at the end he said "well i guess the SS has evolved" LOL

 

How did he swap a 4g63 in there? You sure it wasn't a 420a? That would be a direct swap since the base model came with a 420a which is the non turbo engine. (came in non turbo eclipses)Which is a turd. The 4g63 is a pretty good motor and if he would actually swap one it would be a lot of money. If he had that much money into I'm sure he wouldn't keep the engine stock either. So you probably beat a 420a and your friend is a tard and thinks he knows what hes talking about. I really don't care what anyone says about my car. No one has ever said anything though. "it doesn't matter what kind of car you're driving, the only thing that matters is how big the arms are hangin out the window"

 

considering he has a 2.4 i'd say he for sure didn't swap a 4g63 in it. maybe an n/a one LOL

 

I got a compliment from a GTO dude saying nice car and that those cobalt's are pretty fast. Some people just don't like 4 bangers period because they know what these cobalt's are capable of.

when you drive a car like this, you gotta learn to just ignore the haters. Most people out there think people should drive nothing more than a boring, slow car that is completely indistinguishable from anything else on the road. And if you want a fun car the only thing there should be is a muscle car. I've been at several car shows where people always told me that newer cars should not be allowed to enter them, and that they should not have categories for newer cars. Funny part is that in those shows my car ended up winning.
