how difficult is it to install a short throw shiter?

 

Haven't done one, but I imagine if you are methodical and do everything correctly it shouldn't take much more than an hour. I think the directions say 45 min or so.

Yeah, if your mechanically inclined it shouldn't take you more than an hour.

 

it doesn't take too long. hour tops

 

half an hour, you need a torx bit/driver fyi (don't know what size)

 

TWM very simple. Like everyone here says about an hour

 

its not bad at all... just make sure you read the intructions and keep the how tos on this site up while installing, and you should be fine

 

yep it took me 30 min, and that's with a drive to the autozone to get torx bits, cuz i didn't have any. no center console, and no shift knob cap makes for an interesting drive. there's a really good how to on here, make sure you mark the shift linkage when you unplug the gray clip, that way you won't have to make any adjustments when you put it back together.
