How do you take out the dome light assembly (not just the cover but the white piece covering the wiring)?

 

why? I beleive you just pull it as its just attached on the liner by a lip of some sort. or take the inners out and find a screw?

 

One of the map lights went out and its not the bulb, Im thinkin its a wire. And Ill give that a try

Ok I gave it a pull. Didnt want to come without seeming like itd break or tear up the headliner. No screws that I can see. Any other ideas?

 

This is kinda the opposite of what you want, but the pics might show you. From what I can tell it's mounted in with bolts.

I dont have a sunroof so its different. They drill holes to bolt it onto the sunroof electricals. This is annoying since I already know the dealership wont cover it. Does anyone know how to get behind this assembly without tearin up the headliner?

 

you have to pop off the sideskirts on the headliner, then it will drop down i believe
