Yeah you read correctly, just totalled my ss s/c and I am pissed. No fault accident so just waiting and seeing what happens with insurance and how much I can get for it. Hopefully will have another cobalt within 6 months.

sorry to hear that, i take it your ok. air bags work well? how bout pics of the crashed car, would like to see them. how well did the driver area hold up? just curious to see how well it takes real world hits. sorry for your loss

I've been in a couple of accidents and this one was the worst of them, the airbags worked great it was the least painful crash I've had, but it was at 65 mph and I side-swiped another car. The driver compartment help up great. Just give me a few days to recover and really digest what has happened and I will post pics.

All right here is the story so I don't get 500 pm's about it I was on my way to school doing 50 and a light was turning yellow so I dropped into third and someone came out of nowhere and turned right in front of me. We both ran the light so at least she cannot sue me. So I side swiped her at around 64 is what the cops said. Glad that they were actually around to see her run the light as well. But that is the gist. Any ideas on what to buy with around 15K. Like to know what everyone thinks.

To bad you didn't get gap insurance. It would have protected you from the insurance companys screwing you on the value of the car! That way you wouldn't have to come up with another $7000 to get into another SS! I did it for piece of mind because you can never tell what other drive will do and I most definately want another SS. At least everyone is okay! Good luck on your next car venture!

I'm really sorry to hear about your loss. Glad your okay. I wrote off several cars in the first 20 years of driving but nothing as sweet and fun as our cars. I feel your loss

its really sad, but your story really made me kind of sad. Sorry for your loss. We need a new pic for the featured car spot on the front page.. Get jonel a pic of the crashed car so he can use the updated pic for a few days... Its a fitting tribute...

ive seen to many cars crushed from trying to run a light , we got redlight runner lights around here because of it

Who said I didn't have gap I was waiting on a loan b/c my parents let me borrow the money so I could get the employee discount. I only owe 19,000.00 on it and I am having a place write a recpeit for my rims totalling 4,000.00 dollars. Plus state farm always gives good amounts of money for damaged cars. I am guessing I will get 22,000.00 for it plus rim money, and tax. So i am looking at around 25,500.00 and about 4,000.00 from my other lawsuit which will be goung to court next week. Give me a couple months and hopefully my baby will be replaced. Self-infliction that was funny, Committing suicide b/c of exhaust.
