Rpd?
Hey guys, i tried searching for it and came up empty. Is GM not offering the RPD anymore on the T/C? I'm gettin one here in the next few months and I can't find the thing in the parts catalog and can't order it on the car thru the website either. Is this something GM has decided to quit making for the car or can I just not find it?

Well I'm looking at the online catalog and no results pop up for the RPD and I tried the "build your own" thing on the chevy site and it's not there either. It's got the limited slip option, sunroof, and spare tire stuff, but nothing about an RPD. I wouldn't be getting a 2010 model, I'm gonna get an 09 thats already on a lot. I just wanna order it and have them install it before I take delivery. I just can't seem to find it anywhere. Unfortunately my local dealerships parts dept. is a bunch of idiots and they have no idea what I'm talking about.
bump....i wanna know! lol
bump again....still lookin for an answer. Extremely impatient if you can't tell lol

It may be a factory installed item only.
I read on another thread here that someone ordered one through their dealer but they couldn't install it because the wiring harness was different and they couldn't swap out the harnesses. That was with an 08 model though...

damn...oh well, I'll just order one. My local dealer only wants like a $500 deposit to order a vehicle so it won't be that hard. But why is it that the RPD isn't an option when you go to "build your own" on the chevy site? That's the main reason why I was asking if it was still available.
Or get the DashDaq which is what I just ordered not that long ago.
http://www.dashdaq.com/
It will do everything the RPD does and then some and save your settings. The RPD reset everytime the car is started.

but why pay 600 for colors and cam phasing/intersceptor reading when u can pay half that (literally) and get a dash hawk
reads ur 60 and 1/4 mile times too.
plus it plugs right into ur OBD2 port.

I have an RPD in my 09 ss... it looks nice but if I went back I probably wouldn’t get it. I never change it to anything other than the boost gauge.
It’s pretty big and the A-pillar is big enough to begin with so it just makes your blind spot worse. I was in love with it for about a week. Now I don’t even care about it I would have rather saved the several hundred dollars and just stuck with a stock boost gauge.

I also have the RPD and it's a cool thing to play with or watch at times. It's nice to be able to see if your knock sensor kicks in, and seeing the a/f ratios n a couple other cool things. Only shitty thing is that I'm in Canada and the bloody thing is in metric

Anyways, I know you can configure the car up here.. not sure why you can't down there.
