RPD coupe SS or SS sedan

I am currently split between 2 cars, a 09 coupe with rpd gauge vs 09 sedan and am undecided. Coupe will be over 2 grand cheaper and both have similar miles. I have no use for the 4 door(but could down the line), but love the looks and rareness. I have hp tuners as well but am still a noob. If you had to choose one which would you choose?

I personally think cobalt coupes look better... just a thought.

If I could choose again I would go for sedan, they look great once you do some stuff like lowering, nice wheels and adding the rear lip.

If you have or will have kids then definitely the sedan. If not, then go cheaper, and you're less like to schlep your cheap friends around.

I bought mine new when it was the same price. I like it because I have kids, and it's much more conspicuous.

I can give you advice since I currently own one of each. I would check other options like if either has LSD. I mean it all depends on what you want out of the car. My sedan is my daily and I never use the back seat. Although it is a huge pain to use the back seat in a coupe. I love driving my sedan.

If you need the four doors then buy a sedan. But if you are looking more for options (RPD screen) then get the coupe. Also check your insurance rates. Although there really is no difference in my insurance between the two cars.

I would and did get a coupe, the sedans look like a true rental car unless you do some serious body work.

Make sure neither of those '09's suffer from porous block, that year was the worst for that and if it has it God help your sorry ass

check to see if either has LSD thats a big one

My Car has RPD and its a neat party trick but the novelty soon wears off and you find it becoming a glorified speedometer.

If they're all equal mechanically then get the coupe cuz RACECAR

You can add RPD to a sedan.... Takes a little bit work but it can be done. And I choose sedan I have one and love it. Although I will be buying a SS/SC coupe soon, and I used to have a base coupe.

I love the coupe but I still see the sedan as good equally, plus little more sleeper factor

Definately, although I wouldn't be doing much at all to either, appearance wise.

I will have kids but hopefully wayyy down the line, I'm 28. If the sedan was priced closer to the coupe the decision would be alot harder.

Sedan has limited slip, don't know about coupe. I just see it as another bargaining point if coupe doesn't. Won't really need limited slip either. Sedan was 20$ mth more expensive than coupe, not a deal breaker but a small point to coupe.

I'll look into what you suggested. Being that I have hp tuners makes me wonder if I need rpd, but I'll like not having to get another bung welded in in order to have full time a/f
