Question Sarter??

My wife heard that if you put one of those aftermarket starters on your car that it would void the warrenty. Is this true? I did read the above post about the warranty but was still confused about the whole thing.

if you screw something up or it screws something up then that will not be covered under warranty... warranty's cannot be voided as a whole but modifications resulting in damage will not be covered. i.e. if my modified intake kills the motor somehow I can still get my rotors or interior fixed under warranty... but damage caused by the modification your on your own.

If your car is still under warranty, why would you put in an aftermarket starter ? Starter motors should be covered by warranty. Just my .02, not trying to be smart with you.

I assume he is talking about a remote starter.
