I can only say I am forever indebted to you all and in some way, beyond what has already been accomplished, I will make it up to you all!!
I was embarrassed when I originally posted my story, being 38 and in the situation i'm in is, well, embarrassing. But I wanted you all to know the truth and not some BS from some rumor mill.
From myself, my wife and kid's, our deepest and most sincere THANKS!!!!!!
Right now, the money is going for childcare, groceries, power bill, and 2 month's payments on the cobalt. It is important to us return the favor to try and keep the car and continue to contribute to the cobalt community.
I hope to be able to meet most of you at the GM small car bash and will be offering deeply discounted custom tuning to return the favor to you all!
An update to my situation, since the car business is not a stable income (flat rate) I have started back to school full time for 18 months to pursue a degree in Aviation maintenance. I served in the USAF and worked on F16's so it should be a smooth transition to an hourly good paying job. I will continue to work on cars, hopefully thru the shop or on the side at home and continue to give back to you all as much as you have gave back to me!
Again,
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In the most humbling way!

I emailed $25 to his paypal. Guys I do not own a Cobalt but I stop in here from time to time just to see if I should be careful when I pull up beside a Cobalt at a stop light. Ha Ha
I have got to say that this is one of the nicest things that I have ever seen people do for someone. When it comes to national distasters everyone seems ready to help out but sometimes we forget about the nice people down the street that need our help in a tough situation. You guys are awesome!

It is awesome to know that this community really is in fact an online family. Rob I don't know if you will have the time or the ability to come but there is a cruise near my house in Lincoln Park Michigan. There are a few members coming out. You are more than welcome to come it is a very large organized event much like the dream cruise. PM ME if you want details. Then I will buy you a few shots and we shall see pink elephants !

Good call. Either way I am astonished as to how this community helped so much.
