okay so i was told it would be okay to use dishsoap to wash my cause im out of car soap, but the only stuff here is like lavender smelling or something thats not going to hurt anything is it?
Like Dub said, you can use the dishsoap, but you better wax the car afterwards. The dish soap strips any wax you have on, which can be very useful if you are going to wax again.
If you're just washing the car to wash the car, don't use the dish soap. If you're desperate you can get the car pretty clean just with water and a microfiber cloth...

These guys make it sound like the car is gunna melt without wax on it. Yes you can use the dish soap on the car, but you'll want to wax the car as soon as possible. I would recommend within the week at the latest.
I was mine all the time with it because it helps fight the swirls with my black car.
