Not a Balt, but still a quick sedan. I love it...

^--unless those cams give you a SIGNIFICANT bump in power I'm not seein how that is a quick sedan. Hell I barely consider my car quick..

lol seriously people.. here comes that argument again about how the guy with the 10 second drag car tells everyone else they're slow... seriously?!?!?! you take any average person for a drive in a cobalt ss and they will think it's fast... that's because alot of them are.. any car that can give the passenger butterflies in their stomach when you get on it is quick enough... lets face it... alot of cars don't do that. don't beleive me? ask every person i've ever taken for a drive and suprised the **** out of when i hit the gas...that includes the sceptical ones.

can't wait to see the ride bleu!!!! congrats again!!

That's like asking someone if you should get a Big Mac or a Crispy Chicken for lunch.. lol

Ultimately.. It comes down to you.

My opinion? Coupe. But the sedans are awesome little sleepers if you debadge them..

The Cobalt (specifically the turbo) requires a driver mod. I can drive my friends stage 1 way faster and harder than he can.. lol

keeps up with stock turbo what? MS6's? SS/TC's? Again.. to me.. thats not quick.. Not to mention when most people say "quick car".. they are referring to straight line speed, not handling.

and how am i a troll? for having an opinion? i should call you a troll for calling your car quick based on that description.

ANYWAY... back on topic.. you get some pictures of that amazingly fast racecar sedan man?

Got the parts, going to lower it about an inch, just to tighten up the look, and the tinted (not blacked out) tails are on the way!

Love my little red bitch!
Nice car...what kind of headlights do you have?? They look good, the stock GM ones are so boring looking in a world where even stock family sedans have projectors and blacked out housings.

Seriously?? Its a stock Mazda 6...its no faster than an Accord, Fusion, or Camry. Your car has 220HP and 190ft/lbs and weighs 3400lbs...its not keeping up with any stock SS T/C's. It wouldn't even keep up with a stock SS S/C.

Those are DEPO gen4 projectors. Still deciding what color HIDs to put in them.

Well Ricer, its at that point in 'New!', where I look outside, press unlock to turn the lights on... sigh, then lock it again to turn them off.

And I dont want to find out how horrible the tires are in the snow just yet

sorry not trolling... just making a point.. this car is fast by average car standards...since most people drive cars that aren't as quick , i think it's safe to say majority of opinions on what's fast are more valid in this case than the few people who actually own an 11 second car. That is the standard that most people would go by.. of course it's going to feel slow to you but it's still a fast car... just not AS fast as yours. as i said before i've had enough reactions from people in the passenger seat to know that this car is no slouch... i've had many people in the passenger seat of other cars i've owned when i got on the gas and the passengers never even twitched.

Ya, I know about this snow. We are a few new inches too. They say tomorrow we should have around a foot of new snow, maybe more. Mine is sitting outside covered with the white stuff.

I have two sets of wheels, one for the summer and the other with Blizzaks. With the G85 option, this car really goes through the snow.

These cars are fast for what they are, and get great milage too. They handle good and hae a good ride, a nice package all around My neighbor has a 2005 Mustang GT, and this little car suprises him everytime he is in it. He finally drove it on Friday, and was even more giddy. He now wishes that he bought one of these over his Mustang.

Now, is this fast compared to my Chevelle, nope. But I am putting down more power, way different engine/transmission setup, tires, gearing, and thrill. My Chevelle can only get 10 miles to the gallon if I drive like an old grandma. I can only do about 60 on the highway with it without causing major problems.

I am glad that you like the car, you will like it more once you get use to it. I feel that I still made a good choice with getting mine, even though I do miss the feeling and sound of a v8 for my daily driver.

Stock? I'm sorry. I don't remember letting you drive it. The old motor was a weezy duratec 30. It blew due to a clogged catalyst.

The new motor is a built up 30. It's displacement is now 3.26l, with custom cams, crank, forged rods and taller pistons. It now has a single Garett BB single turbo with a Godspeed FMIC. It's still being set up. That means I'm driving a rusty minivan in this blizzard. FML. But, the car will hopefully put 350-380 on 8psi boost. I can safely hit 17psi, but it's a DD. It has a full suspension setup minus coilovers. Just racing beat springs in that regard. Ots bot in my sig cuz I haven updated it in a while. Plus idc that much.
