I installed my Shiftplus... I think, but when I go from P to D in stage 2, I dont hear this "nasty lurch" that everyone talks about. I think I may hear/feel a difference, but it may be a placebo effect... So how noticable is this sound? I wish I could give it a test drive, but I had surgery on my right foot so I cant drive...
I connected the black wire to a light blue wire with a white stripe, and the red wire to an orange with a black stripe (not tangled with another wire)...

Did I maybe use the wrong ones? There were two blue, and two orange wires in the harness I found, and 1 set was thicker than the other.... I just used the wires that were the same thickness as the shiftplus.

 

put it in N, take your foot off the brake, and put it in D. you should get a jolt as the tranny will engage a lot quicker than you're used to

Na, it happens. I have it installed and it does that.

 

Sorry guys, I was under the impression that a lurch was a sound.... oops.
