Short shifrt or lowering springs?
About to do another mod to My SS and I'd like opinions. Thinking of going cosmetic or performance: Lowering springs or a short shifter. What would be better in the long run? I'm leaning more towards the shifter. Springs means it'll look nicer but I worry about shocks wearing out and alignment messing up. Any input is greatly welcomed.

I'd do the STS first if you are worried about struts/alignment/ect. Its simple and is a huge improvement.
When I did springs, I went ahead and did struts/mounts/end links/springs/alignment all at once so I wouldn't have to worry about anything else for a long time. It was much more involved than the 45 min it takes to pop in a new shifter and cost a good bit more too.

Very thank you for the input. I can't afford to to all that if I did springs. Struts and all. That would really be the best way to go. To do it right. And the shifter would be a drop in and good to go.

I got my sts on a sale from OTTP. less than $200 shipped. havent installed it yet tho. very eager to do so. I wanna go low but as they have said it costs a good bit to replace everything that needs to be done.
