I just installed a Hurst for a fellow club member this weekend. Piece of cake... looks very nice... shifts seem nice too... from what I gathered while playing with it in the partking lot.

Toss up between the Hurst and B&M.... The only real difference is the Hurst = round knob, B&M is kinda like oval-ish (hard to explain, look at pics). I prefer the Hurst, but that's just my lone opinion.

I like the looks of the Hurst over the B&M. I never used a B&M so I'm not sure how short the throws are, but the Hurst that I had was real nice.

i know the throw is shorter but is the shifter itself (the stick) shorter to and do they have a reverse lockout

I have the hurst. Only thing that sucks is the shift knob gets hot as hell in the summer heat. They all have reverse lock out for the ss/sc I believe.

Just ordered the Hurst unit... after the top of the shift knob decided to pop off today in traffic. What a piece of ****.

I have B&M . it was pretty good . I liked the feel of it , but non of the shifters on the market are really short enuff due to the gay ass reverse lockout .

You could buy a B&M or Hurst and mod it like me

Cut off another 1 1/2" , rethreaded it and added insert to increase the thread size to that of an f-body .

Now its perfect .

Pic your favorite brand as the 2 are nearly identical except for the knob .
