www.antennax.com somethign like that...they sell them.

though beware. it did NOT fit on my 06 ss/na. im not sure if they sent me the wrong one or if chevy had changed the antenna sometime during 06.

i ended up just cutting my antenna. it was kinda hard. i took it off and used a variety of hedge trimmers and wire cutters. then put a little black tape and a little rubber cap on the end.

go to www.corvettepartz.com. They have an 8 in steel antenna for about $20. I fits directly on to the 05-07 Cobalts. I just got mine in yesterday. in the search engine, type in "steel antenna" and you will see photos of it installed on another member's car.

No problem, I'm still trying to find the same exact one in Canada to avoid those 12$ of shipping but no such look so far. I'm going to have to order with those shipping fees.

Well, it's assuming stupid Canadian custom doesn't charge for that antenna also. Never got charged custom fees on anything I ordered even when it's not written gift, but these days everybody I talked to seemed to be getting charges.

I guess they need more money for the "I don't want to work for all my life because I'm lazy" class.

I got mine from Canadian Tire for a little less than $10. They are all pretty much universal. They just screw right on. There was a decent selection when I went.

It's like you know me.

I just put 3 closeups in my Gallery. I trird to get up close so the antenna looks longer than it is. It measures 14" from base to tip.

I may get a different one in the spring...just to change things up.

The one on corvettepartz.com is much shorter. It just barely goes above the wing and it is thicker.
