So, now what!?

WEll as some of you know i am looking to get my cobalt, and many of you have seen my post featuring the silver s/c for 10,995 with 21k on it. g85. i added up the parts that i want and i am speniding a lil over $2000 for all of my perf. stuff & the only thing after that would be rims.. but now ive found another balt, that i really like.. and it has a few of the mods that i was looking to buy anyways.. and its gorgous. so..which one..?

Silver-

Blue- pretty sure he is on here.

all opinions will be considered, thanks.

im not planning on paying more than 9500 for the silver balt. and the farter is nasty. 1st thing to get ripped off for sure.

Common sense says silver one, newer with 1 third the miles and cheaper. But if you thoroughly examine that blue one and everything checks out... go for it I guess.

tough -- for the blue one offer him 10k for it, he said he needs it gone quick. it already has **** done to it.

the silver is stockk, that can be good and bad. u can customize it to how you want it, but also u do have to drop more cash into it and spend the time too.

also, 21k miles vs 62k miles

the silver will last longer. the blue has probably been driven hard.

if you want a project and plan to keep for a while -- silver
if you want something already done to drive for like 2 years, not time/effort, -- blue

wouldnt pay more than 10k for either

thnaks ry, nice lil write up.. i dont mind doing the work and all...but i made a list for the silver1. and i have $2000 in mods i want. and then rims and illl be set. for the blue one, i spend like $700 and have everything i wouldve put on the silver 1.. i would like to have the car for a little while though..2 years sounds about right..not sure man, hard decision.

if you dont plan on keeping for more than 2 years, grab the blue one. u'll be set once u transfer the title.

also consider the resale value for when you decide on another car. silver would have a higher resale because of mileage.

i would probably pick up the blue one.

I'd personally get an 07 over both. Comes with a better warranty, nicer steering wheel and radio. I've driven multiple Balts, some with Recaros, most with not. I personally found them uncomfortable. I've also driven some with and without the G85.

Im not sure your experience with a cobalt, but maybe you should go out and test drive a few.

I made a list of everything i wanted in the cobalt first, then went searching for that.

The blue one is a memeber on here I believe. Honestly though, I'd look for a TC myself. Like this one

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/complete-cars-101/2008-ss-tc-fs-218052/

After you pay 2000$ in mods youre up to 13k anyways. id say spend the 14k and get a nice TC. Plus its OBO. You may be able to haggle. And it has low miles. Then trade me trunks if you want a high rise!!!

Edit: Nevermind about the blue one. It's not the members that I thought it was. But its the same paint scheme. But bifferent wheels.

i would like to get a tc but im really on a budget here, i went to see the sliver 1.. had a few imperfections and needs front tires, the shifter is missing a lil trim piece, but other than that the car was great! beautiful interior shape. nice ride... i offered him my current dd. a 2001 altima gxe ltd ed. 118k and full fosgate system with pioneer head uni built in bluetooth, ipod mp3 & a jl sub & amp i offered him that with 7500 cash money out the door (taxes title tags included) at first he offered that.. i tried to work him a little more, he still wouldnt budge so we left, returned a half hour later and offered him the same offer he offered us..he said no. WTF!?? its ashame cuz i really liked the way it drove...everything about it really, low miles and all.. now im f*cked.. but i refuse to give up my car & 8 grand, thats ludacris...
