So what would it take?

Ok,
So what would it take to get flames out the exhaust?
I do not mean afterfireing, where the combustion process is continuing.

Im talking more like relighting the leftover fuel from when your power enrichment
kicks in.

Like a spark plug in the tailpipe, hooked to a high voltage generator. You get small sparks all the time. you step on it, and your ARF goes Rich, and the fuel comes out the exhaust mixes with the surrounding air and the spark and flame on

Anyone ever do that? see it done? or tried it?

I have seen some cars rigged to flame out the exhaust,
and I know that its alll riged that way for show.

Im just curious what it takes to do that.

It's illegal and something that doesn't even impress 13 year old girls.

my bike does it. Not on purpose though.. lol
I don't think it would look bad IMO as long as it was controlled by a switch and wasn't going all the time.
I always wanted to make it functional on my bike so if people were riding my ass I'd give them a reason to back off.

yeah I think it looks cool when a flame naturally pops out of the exhaust, but on purpose with a lighter is cheesy

I'd love to have one of those on 696 during rush hour.
