So whats the final word on the heated seats?

Why did they decide to not put them in the final version of the SS/SC...and where the heated seat buttons were suppose to go why did they leave the buttons there with blank covers on them...they shouldve have not had anything there on the dash.

Final word last I heard was no heated seats on the SS S/C. They don't have that as an option while building one, but they did finally add the performance package. By the way, I don't think I need heated seats in AZ, .

Do you mean the LT model? I thought that it would be found in that model....

From the Chevy website:

LT Sedan
(in addition to, or in place of, Cobalt LS features) Starting at $18,760*
* Leather-appointed front bucket seats with heated seat cushions

If you choose the leather in the LS, they're heated as well.

I'm going to put the heated seats in my SS/sc..... I just need to find out if the fillers where the switch would go is formed into the dash or if its just a simple knock out. I'm going to use the switches that normally go there, maybe a different heat pad since I found one with 2 pads one on the horizonal and one on the vertical.

They didnt leave the button's there with blank covers. If you touch that area in a Cobalt that doesnt have the heated seats you will see that its just hard plastic. In the LT and LS cobalts I have seen it looks like they went with a different type of button than the one that was in the prototype SS/SC.
